Others like to be elusive about who they are on their LJ, but my life is an open book -- somewhat. Most of my post on this Journal are private, so we'll have to friend each other to see my posts. My full name is John Baptista Xavier Ashe and I live in Atlanta. I use to go by John, but added Xavier as a second middle name in college and have been going by that ever since. I am an Information Security Professional, which basically means I am an overpaid hacker. My life is focused on raising Audrey, the most beautiful little 4 year old in the world.

I have a fairly big presence on the web, being a geek and all. You can cyber-stalk me at the following places:

• My professional blog is at The Lazy Genius where I keep up with the security industry. I currently work for IBM Tivoli as Security Specialist.
• I am a Unitarian Universalist and blog about it at Gnu UU. I am training to be a lay minister at my congregation, UUCA.
• I am part of Digitribe, a community of artists and creative folks. Digitribe as a company does media production, like bands (Package, Soulscape) and indie films.
• Speaking of indie films, I helped produce Geekin', Digitribe's first full length feature film. The website has lots of fun stuff like trailers and video shorts. Geekin even has it's own MySpace profile.
• I have a Flickr photo stream, where I post pictures of Audrey and of my travels.
• Finally, I have a YouTube Channel where I post by videos of Audrey and my travels.
